Terms of Service — DriveIQ

These Terms govern your use of the DriveIQ mobile application ("the app", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. Contact: support@eiredrive.com.

1. The service

DriveIQ is a study aid to help you prepare for the Irish driving theory test. It provides practice questions, mock tests, and progress tracking. DriveIQ is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Road Safety Authority (RSA) or any government body. Using the app does not guarantee that you will pass any official test.

2. Eligibility

You must be old enough to study for a driving licence and at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use the app and create an account.

3. Your account

You are responsible for providing accurate information, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for activity under your account. Notify us at support@eiredrive.com if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Subscriptions & billing

• Some features require a paid subscription, purchased through the app store you installed from (Apple App Store on iOS, or Google Play Billing on Android).
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel anytime in your store account (Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS, or Google Play → Subscriptions on Android).
• Prices are shown in the app before purchase and may change with notice for future periods.
• Payments, renewals, and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under the terms and refund policy of the store you purchased from.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the app: no reverse engineering, scraping or bulk-extracting content, reselling or redistributing content, interfering with the service, or using it for any unlawful purpose.

6. Intellectual property

The app, its design, and its question content are owned by the operator of DriveIQ or its licensors and are protected by law. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own study. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from the content without permission.

7. Disclaimers

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that the content is error-free or fully up to date with current law, and the app is not a substitute for the official rules of the road. Always rely on official sources for legal requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator of DriveIQ is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for outcomes of any official test, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including your statutory consumer rights).

9. Termination

You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile → Settings → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or misuse the service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app or store listing, and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
